Life:Cycle? [Abstract Music Jam]

Submission to the Abstract Music Jam.

The idea is a combination of program music (music that tells a story) and the inverse of musique concrète (music that uses recorded sounds instead of notation).

The bare bones of this piece: music instruments that imitate or suggest everyday sounds, layered with more drone-y whoosh-y sounds.

The story is simple: two dissonant melodies find their consonance, and from that is born a new entity. Innocence. Wonder. Then through the traffic and to work, all while the clock is ticking away. Incident. Rush. Decline. Fade. But can you hear the birds at the end?
